I was hesitant to buy because it was cheaper than other brands even though they all looked pretty similar in the photos. Well it turned out to be a great purchase and I'm glad I didn't spend more on something else. It took a few minutes to wrap the cord in, but once it's in there's nothing to worry about. And the mount works great "upside down" on the kitchen table (against the apron). The echo dot and the bracket are firmly seated in the socket. I would buy again anytime if I needed another one. One note: the mount is only for 3rd gen Echo Dots with a square charger like mine. To my knowledge some of the newer 3rd generation Echo Dots have rectangular chargers. Please check the shape of the charger before purchasing. If it's rectangular then don't buy this version because it won't fit.
