Nice concept. I'm only giving 3 stars because one of the units is defective and is being sent back for replacement. We placed one in the hallway next to the guest room so it would light up the hallway leading to the bathroom so someone could find the light switch. The other was on the edge of the man's bedside table, so when he gets up in the middle of the night his path is lit - this one turned out to be defective. It went on and off all night. We checked for spiders moving around the sensor, the dogs were sleeping in their beds, there was no movement in the room and it was constantly turning on and off. Did this 3 nights in a row (disrupted by light while sleeping) and ended up turning off hallway light to bedroom. No problems with this device (5 stars). The sensor must be defective. We are very happy with other Mr. Balken and we have many indoor and outdoor units.
