It definitely doesn't look like the photo, which adds to the "natural" look of the plant. The leaves are LIGHT waxy green and there are actually drops and threads of hot glue attaching the flowers to the stems. I would never put it up where you can see it up close, but it's fine on a bathroom shelf.
