Need to change the baud rate to 115200. Downloaded the tools easy enough but couldn't crack the code on how to get it working until I read a review that suggested it might be the HC-05 instead of not HC-05. XK-06. So I opened it up, pressed the button and used the HC-05 tab. Then the baud rate change worked. key moment. Use the Test button to ensure the device accepts "AT" commands (returns "OK"). After confirming that the "AT" command works, the rest of the configuration commands will also work. I would have given this a 5 star rating (also a great price) if it weren't for this difficulty.
