Lots of positives, a few minor negatives. If I could rate 4.75 I would. Pros: Great price, very nice look, easy to wash and light weight but it doesn't tip over as it's a bit squat. The English portion of the manual is easy to read, with correct spelling and wording. We use regular popcorn and only a few don't pop at the very beginning of the cycle, but the rest pop perfectly. We'd like to have an on/off switch instead of having to plug and unplug the device to start and stop it. Cup on top from blazing heat. We rarely used this feature on our old popper and don't miss it now. The only other minor downside is that while it pops well, not everything pops out of it and the heater into the breech. Once you hear it has stopped popping, there will be no more force to push out the remaining popping kernels. Taking them out is very easy. Turn off the switch and lift the lid, then pour a small amount of popcorn into the bowl. Don't forget to preheat the popper for two minutes as clearly stated in the instructions. We connect ours, remove the lid, turn on the switch, and then set the timer of the microwave. We don't go far. In two minutes we have enough time to get the margarine spray out of the fridge, take out the popcorn and put it in the lid, take out the popcorn and get out the bowl. Put the bowl back in place and the heat of the popper will warm it up. it is a little before turning off the heating cycle. Pour in the popcorn, put the lid on and turn the popper back on. Enjoy
