Review on Monopoly Cheaters Board Game for All Ages by Troy Larson

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Don't play it with people you love

This game is disgusting. Not fun at all. And I don't mean "no fun" like in "playing regular monopoly with crappy house rules that make the game last 2 days". I mean no fun, just like "traumatic stress" and "betrayal of trust" are no fun. Try to keep an eye on your opponents, track what cheats are used in the game and try to create cheats yourself. By the end of the game, the ego was bruised. I feel like my wife cheated on me and I don't think my wife looks at me the same way. I felt weird trying to teach our 7 year old how to cheat successfully when he was struggling to figure out how to sneak cheats. I'm not sure if this gameplay is appropriate for anyone under the age of 16, let alone those you love. I will keep this game because in 10 years it will be equated with speed darts, Atari 2600 "ET" video game and toys. orange pistols and sugar cigarettes.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Quality
