Review on Metro Exodus for PlayStation 4 by Stanislaw Gluszek ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A good and high-quality product, but there are disadvantages.

As far as DLC goes, the best of the two is, of course, Sam's story (except for the off accent). But in reality, DLC is nominal, I do not recommend taking it. Unfortunately, this game can only be appreciated by residents of the post-Soviet space, as evidenced by not very good and mixed reviews from foreign players. The apocalyptic territories in resistance 3 on ps3 (2022) are definitely better made and at the same time they are multinational. As a work separate from the book, it is weak, as if the game should have been released 8 years ago. The game has too many details where it is not needed, and where it is needed - there is nothing. I wish success to the studio, I hope that the next game will be more international and elaborate

Pros
  • Catch a review, broken Chushkan! -Good graphics, but what reliability! half of the post-Soviet cities look like this game, just drive away from their center. Novosib is a creepy location reliably conveyed to nausea, the Volga is a beautiful mission, but the Caspian and Taiga are something not right, they are not balanced. -detailed sound, good soundtrack, excellent voice acting (except for swearing and strange sayings, and sometimes it is not clear where the loud squeal of a pig came from) - the game keeps on emotions quite often due to the sharp introduction of the player from a safe place to a location with opponents, if you go without side quests and run through opponents, the game changes locations very cheerfully, which is great - made with love and enthusiasm, and this is very important -there is an opportunity to byp the bosses knowing the loopholes
Cons
  • -bad optimization, bugs, drawdowns (PC). You can’t get on the trolley, the levers may not allow themselves to be pressed, the fish jumped only after the game was restarted, the speech of the characters is superimposed on each other and a million other bugs. Well, the main bugs are the plot: to carry a crowd of unrelated people across the country to search for a drug for a wife that no one needs, which was in the insute room (! ) With direct access through the stairs through a hole, and we were taken through all the offices with gorillas. A disabled man in Taiga lives on the second floor of a hangar without light in the middle of swamp monsters. - you can't skip the chattering, there are problems with saving progress, every launch of the game there is a video for 30 seconds, the game is scripted almost everywhere, the player seems to be above all objects and monsters. -the game hasn't changed much, perhaps only graphically, the colorizer is also very bad, the fog is just awful - the hero did not say a word for the whole game, is not visible in the reflections -the faces are very detailed, but the animations are generally to hell (the level of the cold 2022) -Ped the whole game with one gun, without pumping it. Why the pumping was needed at all, it is not clear. why didn’t they give the opportunity to throw out the tihar? I also never used binoculars. -stupid opponents, that mutants, that people. they just sit behind cover and yell. They don't hear, they don't see. You can make any shot at a person and immediately finish him off with a knife, so I mowed all the locations in half a minute. The map of Taiga is made not only the most inadequate in terms of the arrangement of objects, but also one of the most miserable in all the games that I have played. -A story-based game (if you don't go through side quests and don't sleep), it is played in 80% of cases at night. This, of course, adds entourage, but this is just an attempt to hide the lack of detail in locations and sometimes it’s hard to see anything. I also appreciated a certain emotionality of the story, but I had no desire to save either my wife or others - they did not help, but only caused irritation along the way. So I got a bad ending, and in general, I don’t have any feedback from this.
