30 years old. 30 years of New Balance Wides. For me this is the only shoe. The higher the numbers, the greater the stability. more pronation and rotation of the foot from left to right when walking or running. This shoe has great healing and hamstring support, as well as a wide, solid base for my large foot and stature :) Note the slight change on the left and right side of the balm. I hope that when my foot rolls from left to right, the support will still be there when I go for a walk later. My 1260s had brackets on the left and right. Couldn't find one in my size so bought this 1540. They definitely have more ankle and achilles support. Many Thanks. If you're looking for a great shoe with a great design for comfort on the sole, you can try the 1080s. I have them in several colors. Great for shopping and walking around town but opt for a higher tier like the 1540s or 1260s. for more secure lateral stability for long hours of walking and running.
