I received this keyboard today to replace the Apple BT (wireless) keyboard on my wife's new M1 Mini. The BT keyboard was having issues - delayed characters - probably M1 related, or the keyboard may have reached end of life. But on my machine I use a *wired* Apple compact keyboard which I really liked and didn't cause any problems. This Macally is almost identical to the Mac, but significantly cheaper. I'd also like to add that I bought a non-aluminum version of Macally a few years ago - and while it worked well - I was *not* satisfied with the *feel* when typing. It bent when I typed. Some may not care or notice, but apparently I type a lot and the flex bothered me! However, this newer aluminum version ($10 more expensive than the plastic model) has the firm Apple keyboard feel I'm used to. The Macally cable is longer too - which was an added bonus as the M1 Mini is only a few feet from the keyboard and I was able to route it easily without a USB extension cable.
