I work in my home office and use a pair of Logitech USB headphones to make VoIP calls and listen to music while I work. I travel a lot and my poor seven year old Logitech was completely broken. The good first: AKG's sound is amazing, and although they retailed for $150, I bought mine at Revain for $74. good: the on/off button is between the two benches when they are folded for storage, so the first time i used them properly they went out after about 20 minutes on an important phone call with customer suggestions. The AKG designers could have placed this button anywhere and it would have been better. The other downside is positive, depending on how you look at it. The over-ear design is excellent at isolating outside noise (passive noise-cancellation, if you will), which is beneficial when listening to music. However, when you're on the phone, it feels like you're talking with your fingers plugging your ears. Now I'll certainly get used to it, or maybe I'll talk less and listen more. I know many people who would have bought them for me ten years ago if they had known they would have such an impact.
