I would have been better off with the 8
I usually wear a 8.5-9 for shoes and I took a chance and got a 9 for this. I would have been better off with the 8.5 but that's my own fault. the quality of the shoes are very nice. they make the boots look heavy but isn't actually. the sweater cuff is great for colder weather! I haven't gotten the chance to use the hidden pocket. I tried it out and it's pretty tight. I don't think any cards will be flying out.
