Review on Tobin Gingerbread Friends Stocking Applique by Carla Anderson

I bought this because I was fed up with the Bucilla kits with their 3 instruction sheets. I thought this couldn't be worse. I like the fact that it only has two very basic instruction sheets. However, one of these sheets usually consists of pattern pieces that you have to place on the felt and cut out. Having made stockings before, I knew the large felt was the back of the stocking, but newbies wouldn't know this and might need to buy another large piece of felt. I don't understand why they couldn't print the pattern pieces all over the felt. They printed them on the red and brown pieces, but not on the white, green, and yellow. very funny. Your instructions on swinging on the thin tube beads are inadequate. You just say "deokrate" (sic) the cookie with the pearls. With what stitch? What thread color? I don't know because the instructions don't say so.
