So these things are a real find. I have an adorable chinchilla (same as picture) who loves to eat EVERYTHING. Nothing is safe outside of his cage - books, wall decorations, my trash can and, yes, electrical cords - everything is on the menu. I needed something to cover my strings while playing so he wouldn't chew on them and this seemed like just the ticket. These things are affordable and very easy to install. I have a few essential wires in my room (computer, clock, air purifier, air conditioner, lamp) and I need to cover them all and a few more. I originally ordered 4 covers but I didn't have enough so I bought 4 more just in case. I like it, that they can easily be cut to length without risk of wear. In fact, they are perfect for my needs. The chinchilla is safe and I'm glad I don't have to worry about him while playing. Good product!
