After a few washes with Cascade Platinum I noticed a marked improvement in the condition of my pots, cutlery and clear stainless steel glasses. Where Finish left a whitish sheen, Cascade cleaned it, leaving very few water spots. The inside of my dishwasher is white so it always looks clean to me. I don't have hard water so these issues don't bother me either. The only issue I have is that I have washed several colored cast aluminum drinking cups in the dishwasher and they have become very dull. Cascade has not done anything to fix this issue. I suppose I should hand wash them, but that probably never will happen. Either way, Cascade Platinum is the best dishwashing detergent I've ever tried.
