I decided to improve the sound for my podcasts and game streaming and chose this microphone. Due to the limited budget I chose the Shure Sm7B. While the Shure quality is undeniable, I paired the Spark with a GoXLR and the quality was amazing. This is definitely an upgrade over the traditional USB mic (Yeti). Again I bought this as my starter upgrade and the quality was great. I plan to upgrade to the Sm7B and then use the Spark as a backup mic. Overall, this is a great mic, especially if you're just starting out with content.
