The idea works, it is easier to unbuckle, same makes drop off a bit easier. However, it kept coming unattached from the carseat, then my kids would want me to reattach out so that they could still unbuckle themselves. NOT a timesaver that I was hoping for it to be. Plus, getting into the carseat was a little dangerous, as they had to be careful when sitting, as to not be goosed by the little bears. I am working for one that are already detached, that I can also hand to them when I am ready for them to unbuckle.
