Review on 🐦 Kaytee Birders Blend 5 lb, No Additives by Christine Ellis

I was surprised when I bought this from Revain for a few dollars less than my local store but my native birds definitely like this mix. It has a lovely cherry scent that seems to really attract birds, and while the mix isn't without dirt, we find that the waste is very low and spoils quickly. We have blue jays, eagles, cardinals, juncos, tits, nuthatches, various finches, pink-chested hawfinches, a few different woodpeckers, a few sparrows (which mostly stay away from larger birds) and the occasional red-winged blackbird or one of a variety of Crow. . We also saw a scarlet tanager and a couple of indigo buntings, but these birds are so rare it's hard to tell if they like something or not. throw enough on the ground as they pass through that those who feed off the ground will be happy too. We like to mix it up with a fruit and nut mix and extra sunflowers in the winter months.
