These fans are a fantastic deal considering you are getting 5 fans for this price. I can't say how they are after prolonged use as I only installed 2 on my computer in the last day. I have 3 fans. in my computer case. One recently started making noise again. Instead of oiling it like I have done in the past when this happened I decided to replace it. I really only needed one fan, but when you add the shipping cost to the cheaper fans sold individually, the price gets too high. And the average price for budget fans is around $8 a piece. That's why it's such a big deal! Five $8 fans are $40, and that doesn't include shipping. I got free shipping which made the deal even better. The light is much brighter than I expected. I have checked the photos in other reviews but I have to say that none of the photos accurately represent how bright the color is and how bright the light is. After seeing how the lighting looked when I replaced the noisy fan, I decided to replace it. from the fan on the front of my case, although it still worked fine. I thought it would look like night with more visible light shining through the front of my case (original fans have a pair of blue LEDs in the center; these new ones have a different light pattern but are much more visible through the fan structure). Case. I didn't swap the 3 case fans because the last one is in the back and I don't really see it under normal circumstances. So I have 3 spare fans in case I need them. Yes, there are better fans on the market, but you pay a lot more for them. They look great and work as expected. I chose blue as that is the color of the LEDs in my original fans (I didn't have a color choice when I built my computer, I just bought the cheapest fans they had). I've gotten used to this color over the years. However, if greens and reds were as vibrant as these blues, I think both would be great color choices (although that's just an aesthetic opinion). They are calm but far from silent. one criticism of these fans would be the rubber anti-vibration pads. Because they're part of the design, you can't test how well they work with fans without them versus fans with them. Also, the anti-vibration pads aren't particularly thick, once you tighten the screws you tend to compress them enough, although I don't think they have any real effect when it comes to vibration dampening. A couple of rubber washers could do the same thing I think. However, it would be more difficult to apply the washers when installing the fan. So being a real part of fan design is good in that regard. In summary, if you need fans, this is a very good choice. These are decent fans at a great price.
