Beetles are cheap, but compared to every other brand we've tried, they hold things up the worst. We've had more breakthroughs with these diapers than any other guy combined. Unfortunately, the side ruffles don't hold up. Once when we were breastfeeding we even had urine - I didn't even realize what it was until a waterfall of urine fell out from under the diaper. This is not from me! They're also difficult to change because they fold up and are difficult to lay flat (and fold up afterwards, of course, but in a way that makes them difficult to fold up and throw away). However, when the urine gets in properly, diapers are quite absorbent.
