It's free, great for testing out ideas! Easy to create an API that fits your needs - can be as simple or complex (or not) you want it too b/c there are many options built-in with things like OAuth2 etc., but no one way of doing everything right so I really have nothing negative about this piece apart from maybe some minor UI changes would make me feel better :). Have used other services before where we had issues building our own solution because they were just "too good" at what their offering was supposedto do without considering how much time & effort needed into learning all those tools first.. We did build something ourselves after using cloud merge which gave us access control through user login insteadof having everyone use oauth tokens wich made sense given who owns each api endpoint being accessed by end users vs admin / developer accountsetc.
