Review on 💾 XPG S40G 2TB RGB 3D NAND PCIe Gen3x4 NVMe 1.3 M.2 2280 SSD (AS40G-2TT-C) by Darrius Frison

Overall I'm happy with the fast drive. RBG is good but the white color on RBG is not very good. I installed this on an Asus Prime z390-a motherboard in the top M.2 slot and had no trouble installing. I had an issue with the ASUS Aura software slowing down the drive (see photo). It's easy to uninstall Aura and use XPG-rbg software to control the RBG, but you can't sync it with another Aura-controlled lighting pattern. I use static lighting so this is not a problem for me. For comparison, I've included the Sabrent 1TB Rocket reference, which is a slightly more expensive drive.
