The brush is well made, the bristles are in place nicely. It goes through my hair nicely when it is dry. I feel like it makes my hair shinier and softer. It is real boar hair so, this brush may not be appropriate for someone that avoids animal products. The wooden portion is sturdy, fits nicely in the hand.
