Bought and returned eight pairs of identical sandals, from cheaper to more expensive. Some were too small, some uncomfortable, some poorly made. I just wanted a sporty, comfortable sandal that I could wear to the pier and also when we go to the mountains. I don't normally wear open-toe sandals when hiking, but I needed a pair that could keep up when I decided to hit the trail or take a nature walk. I finally found what I was looking for! The Ryka Savannah women's sandals fit you perfectly. They are true to size. They are amazingly comfortable. They have adjustable ankle straps for comfort and also at the top of the ankle at the front. Ironically, these sandals are the only ones I've tried that don't have an adjustable back. It has a velcro that opens at the front and can be adjusted. The back is made of elastic material, very soft and very comfortable. There is no lumpiness to deal with. The sandals have a slightly uneven insole that does not irritate or cause pain. It's soft. The shoes bend with you when you walk and do not irritate you. They are good in and around the water but not very good on slippery rocks. However, grip is normal with normal wear and tear. I don't think these sandals aren't as durable as their more expensive competitors, but they've lasted all summer with no signs of wear and I'm going on a mountain vacation soon and they will definitely go with me. I'll soon find out how they behave on small stretches. (I will re-evaluate if I have any issues.) I am very happy with these sandals and. Considering all the others I've tried and come back, this is a 5 star sandal for me. They are comfortable on my feet even though I walk a lot, climb rocks and hills and swim in our boat. Plus, they're cute and affordable!
