Review on 🧹 Anker HomeVac Duo 2-in-1 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner: Efficient Rechargeable Bagless Stick and Handheld Vac with Upright Charging Base - Black by Ayoo Guzman

Decent vacuum cleaner although suction seems to be lacking

Being able to vacuum without a cord is definitely a plus for me as I don't like tugging on cords other than unplugging and plugging in again every once in a while time sockets. Although the first impression was positive, I could have expected too much from a battery-powered compact vacuum cleaner. While the litter box displays the amount of dust and debris collected after a vacuuming cycle (when fully assembled), I wish this unit had more suction power. When some cords and cords got into the vacuum I initially thought it was the suction and was quite impressed (I love when my vacuums have that kind of suction). However, failing to pick up a few grains of sand or rice, I soon realized that it was the spinning bristles at the end of the device that were catching on the cables when the device was in full assembly mode. The rotating bristles feed dust and dirt into the unit and the suction tries to get it into the collection tray, but if the vacuum stops vacuuming after a few cleaning cycles, the heavier particles may just end up falling back to the floor. This means that the collection tray The collection and air filters need to be cleaned frequently for optimal performance, and the drop in suction power becomes significant when the filter is retaining some dust and carpet fibers. I still like old clunky vacuums that have enough suction power to feel like a pretty strong magnet. I hardly felt any airflow when I put my hand on the Anker HomeVac Duo's bristles (and emptying the filter and collection compartment slightly improved the suction). However, I'm hesitant to go back to those old vacuums as it seems like a step backwards in terms of technology. This may be a stepping stone to more advanced technology in handheld vacuums, but I could certainly do more with higher suction power and an improved collection compartment that prevents carpet fibers and similar debris from simply collecting next to the air filter area and clogging it. upwards, reducing the suction power.
