Too big for a regular mixer

maybe I'm blind but I swear it was said for a regular Kitchen Aid blender and it's definitely too long. The one that came doesn't look like the picture. It has an extra half inch or so on top making it too big. He hops around the bowl and scratches. It's not designed for a regular blender, but maybe it will fit in a larger blender? With a bowl rising? I do not know
