Ideal for simple audio recordings!
My wife uses this to record social media videos on her phone. This stand performed the best we've tried in our price range (under $40). Very easy to set up. The legs aren't very strong, but as long as you're not shooting videos or photos where you might have an issue with kickstand or leg collisions, you're fine.
