This is an attractive dog collar that fits my dog well. However, the dog began to scratch the collar several times a day. When the scratching wouldn't stop after a few days, I took off the collar to inspect it. I ran my fingers along the underside of the collar and noticed that some of the stitching was sharp and prickly. I rubbed the collar around my own neck to see how it would feel when I put it on, similar to how my pup should feel. Of course it was prickly and sharp, and I understand why it was irritating my pup's skin. so now i have to mask off the sharp parts of the collar so it doesn't bother my dog anymore
