. This is an absolute must if you are planning to install an RO unit and have a fridge with ice maker and/or or have a water dispenser. Not only is it more financially beneficial to go this route (the patented filters in refrigerators are grossly overpriced), but the filters in these refrigerators typically don't skimp on "filtration" compared to a reverse osmosis system. We have installed a reverse osmosis system here in the office (sitting area) and brought it to the refrigerator. The fridge is a Whirlpool Gold series with ice/water and specialty filters that cost around $30-$40 each and they try to get you to replace them every 3 months (according to the built in timer/reminder). The filter never reduced the PPM of the water much (on average it went from 500 to 460-470). We removed the filter in the fridge to bypass it and had pure reverse osmosis water replace the normal plumbing and the PPM is now around 9-12. So throw away your fridge filters and drink water that is truly pure. Use this adapter to disconnect from the reverse osmosis system feeding your sink (or where it originally came from) to power your fridge. also. You will not regret it. Installation is also quick and easy, especially if you've always been used to setting up the reverse osmosis system yourself. The only tricky part (the "hard" part can be debatable depending on your situation) is how you want to route it to the fridge. We simply drilled holes in the top/back of the cabinets and drew a line behind each drawer. Out of sight, out of reach. Installs in about 10-15 minutes. (of course without the installation time of the reverse osmosis system). This is the perfect cookware set for those who love to travel by car and camp. You get everything a person will ever need, regardless of the food their heart is set on, which is the biggest benefit. The carry case also helps keep everything together in a small space and protects it from scratches from other things around. They're steel, which means they have weight. Nothing out of the ordinary, but heavier than what you would take with you if you were backpacking to your destination (in situations like this you'll want to use aluminum or carbon fiber to keep the backpack's weight down). So if you're traveling in a way that doesn't count every pound of your weight, this is perfect! It also means they're more affordable, hence the price (compared to overpriced aluminum or carbon fiber cookware). When choosing between black or silver, black is the obvious choice as it sets them apart from any other pair of cookware you can buy. collide (since this is a person's personal opinion). We would have posted some photos, but Revain has disabled the ability to insert images for now. Hopefully we can come back and add them later when this whole lockdown is over. ** If you found our review helpful, please upvote it below so I know.
