You can reuse old Dell adapters on new laptops
Buy a new Dell laptop with a small 4.5mm power jack on the power supply. I have several old Dell PSUs with a large 7.4mm jack. I verified that the old power supplies were the same voltage and at least the same amperage or higher than the new one. They are. Thanks to this adapter, I don't have to lug a new power supply (which is bigger than I expected) between home and office. Keep the original stone at home and use one of the old ones in the office with a key adapter. Works perfectly
