EDIT 8/2021: cable completely torn and had to be disposed of. It lasted a year which is honestly longer than I thought it would be, but I wouldn't buy this particular cable again. I wanted a simple AUX to Lightning cable to connect my iPhone to the AUX input on the stock car stereo in the glove box. Works great. The length is about right to go from the glove box to the center console where I put my phone. Every time in the world I get the message "This accessory is not supported" when I connect. I just unplug it and plug it back in a minute later and it works. It's a fairly cheap cable so after some use the cable's sheathing just at the end in front of the lightning connector broke and came loose exposing the wiring inside. Still, it's not too bad to throw away since the cable still works. However, over the long term I don't see it lasting much and I'm pretty sure I'll have to throw it out and eventually replace it.
