You are trying to fix. No batteries are included, so you need to put two double AAs in it and don't charge it. It's not very strong and very cheap plastic so I actually broke it the second time I used it, the metal rod popped out and it still works but I have to keep pulling it out. Waxes have a beautiful color palette and work well on hardwood floors. Just be careful not to press it too hard while using, let the hot tip do the work.
