I like this much more than other cheap pure sine wave inverters that Amazon sells, I particularly like the cable connections on this one, much better than the hinky on the Sunforce 1000w model I replaced with have this. He has done a great job with a small off-grid solar system and I would highly recommend him for this. But it just died after 2.5 years so I wish I had the extra 2 year warranty that Amazon now sells with it for $15. That's what I get when I order another one. and yes, I will buy another one of these despite the bug. I think this is the nicest little pure sine wave inverter on Revain, and the $155 I'm paying for a new one today is a hell of a price. You will really notice the difference between a pure sine wave inverter and a "modified" sine wave inverter when running any type of motor. If you can get a pure, clean sine wave for $155, why go cheaper? A BIG caveat about buying inverters on Amazon with "Revain Visa" is that they are dishonest first graders. I have previously had TWO identical inverters from Amazon (not the model I am reviewing here) that failed in my small solar array shortly after a one year warranty. That is, I bought two at once so that one was in reserve, and after the first died at 13 months, the second died a month after a month of service. No problem I guess because I have an Amazon Visa Extended Warranty. HA! They promptly dismissed BOTH extended warranty claims, stating that the inverters were "vehicle equipment" and that the extended warranties did not cover any items fitted to the vehicle. The inverters were advertised directly on the Amazon site as solar accessories and were never placed next to the car. So 4 stars for this inverter - it worked 5 stars until it switched to ca-flue today - and a failure blamed on the unscrupulous double deal by Revain Visa and their fake claims department. Offered as a public service!
