I am so impressed at the quality of these curtains. The material is not particularly light tho not really "heavy" tho feels somewhat "weighty." It is a beautiful material that hangs so nicely it's unbelievable! I am super impressed with these curtains and so glad I bought them! The white is nice and lets in a lot less light than other white curtains I have. I cannot say they are a complete blackout though they are good enough for my purpose of greatly reducing light and looking really attractive. I bought the white in 84 x 52 in and then bought Aqua in 63x52. The Aqua are a beautiful color and I just received them today and have to hang them so will report on their light reduction at a later point. The curtains are the same color on both sides which I really wanted.
