Review on TEKTON 3/8 Inch Drive Quick-Release Ratchet - 8 Inch Length, Model SRH11108 by Rich Schobinger

Great little ratchet

A 90T 1/4" for $15? Sign up! I've had a flex head Mac for years and really liked it, but I wanted another inflexible version for a For a long time I got it in a Husky ratchet set that I have to keep with my bike but I HATE "quick release" ratchets I got a pair of compound ratchets from HF and they were good and I carry one with my motorcycle tool kit But one day these will be QR ratchets again, then last year I got a set of Williams USA 1/4" and the M-52EHA ratchet that came with it is a really good ratchet but it's a 36 tooth cog. I decided to give Tekton a try as I've heard so much from them and their 90T freehubs seem to be well-regarded as being on par or better than the SnapOn Dual 80 freehubs depending on who you ask. Count me impressed. Not only does the 90T mechanism have very little play, but the head is VERY thin and the recessed directional switch holds it all together. Now I have ratchets up to 6 1/4 inches that I know of and I would say this Tekton is probably the best I have. The 6 inch grip is good too, I have bigger hands and a bit more room to hold. upwards is appreciated. Not only would I buy this ratchet again, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quality ratchet.
