Great idea! Burn your memories to a mini DVD-R. Right? Well, good camera, good idea, burns to mini DVD-R, but if you're ready to copy discs, forget it! To do this you need to BUY expensive software and all the demos I've tried don't work. I've been trying to rip my mini DVD-Rs (which are written in MPEG4 (.vob) format) to full size DVDs playable on any player for over three weeks and I still can't. Also, the footage sucks. 640x480 and I can't manage to take a picture at the same time as the camera boasts.
