grandkids haven't worn them yet but washed them perfectly. no bleeding. Love Santa's 3D beard / fluffy beard and its softness. The thickness of the material is medium to light, probably not thick enough for the colder northern and midwest winters. I've gone up a size or two for all four pairs I've bought and it has worked well. I found very similar pajama sets (unfortunately without a fluffy beard - only appliqué) for newborn twins at "My First Christmas Sets".
