I usually only buy Crucial memory because of known compatibility. However, for some reason, supplies were running out. I had to upgrade the staff laptop and have it delivered to the door. I stumbled across Timetec and checked out their memory finder. Fortunately, this company makes compatible RAM. The memory worked well in the Lenovo Thinkpad, which certainly speeded up the machine. RAM turned out to be of good quality, easy to install, and the machine had no glitches. The price is a little lower than other brands, which is nice. EDIT - Crucial is harder to get for some reason. Timetec memory is good too. There were no problems on systems on which this memory is installed. EDIT: I received a couple of defective fins. Also, I've had reports of two laptops with this memory installed accidentally shutting down.
