Everything is OK. for meat
Yesterday I made a candy with it. I want it to be lighted and easy to read. I noticed that sometimes when I held it in my hands, despite the fact that the probe was extended, the temperature didn't register until I wiggled it back and forth. Also, all reactions were for cooking meat; I bought the thermometer because it was listed as a candy thermometer. It works and the candy was a big hit. Butter fudge with pecans.
