This is a beautifully made dress. Its lined for modesty and very lightweight. Usually, I find that dresses that are lined are too heavy for our Midwest summers which can be ultra hot and humid. But, I believe that this dress would have been just fine. I also found it to be very flattering with a fit that was right on the mark.I just had two problems with it. One was a little problem. On the monitor, the dress looks as though even the background of the fabric is pink, which is what I wanted. In fact, it is cream-colored and there is very little pink in the dress except for the little flowers. However, that was a totally moot point because of the big problem. and I know that while my problem may be a bit bigger than most, I'm not the only one out there with this problem. My girls are uneven. This is not usually a very noticeable issue - unless I am without clothing and even then, only REALLY noticeable in certain positions. But this dress not only accentuated this, it MAGNIFIED it to the point where I looked like I was carrying a cantaloupe and a mango. The problem appeared WAY WORSE than it even was!I tried the dress on another day thinking that maybe it was a bad day or maybe I put it on crooked or it was SOMETHING that I may have done. But alas, this was not so. It was the dress. What a shame. I really wanted that dress and to order a few more because of how beautifully it was made. Well, other than that one "big" problem. In every OTHER aspect, it was SO flattering.
