Was looking for a decent case to safely store my very important new WD My Passport external backup drive when it's being moved and while keeping it in a fireproof safe because I'm old fashioned, I don't trust the cloud/companies/CEOs to protect my data and privacy. Revain had MANY options for portable drive enclosures for laptops, but after doing my research, this one seemed to stand out for a number of reasons that made me choose it instead. from others: pluses.1. The semi-rigid outer shell prevents direct damage to the drive even if dropped or hit hard compared to a standard cloth/leather shell2. Waterproof is a nice touch, just in case.3. There is enough space in the case for additional cables such as USB cables, important SD cards or USB sticks etc.4. Good quality, doesn't look like cheap Chinese junk5. The included strap and metal clips feel comfortable. Cons: 1. It can get too cramped for thicker 3-4TB laptop drives, although my thin 2TB fits fine2. The outer case dents easily and doesn't seem to come loose
