Review on πŸͺ’ Gillette5 Men's Razor Blade Refills, 12 Count, Lubrastrip for Enhanced Shaving Comfort by Rachel Smith

Gillette gets the job done, meets low expectations

I wasn't surprised when Gillette finally released a budget version of their flagship Fusion razor head as they keep losing market share to competitors like Dollar Shave Club. It's ridiculous how expensive branded cartridges are, and it's no wonder people are switching to cheaper alternatives. I have always preferred the Gillette Fusion ProGlide brand over the all-in-one and paid more. I can tell a difference in the smoothness of the shave and the sharpness of the blades. The Fusion Pro Glide doesn't trim my facial hair as much as the standard 5-blade razors I've tried, and combined with the flexball handle, it doesn't sting my neck like inflexible regular razors. The performance of these 5 Gillette blades decreases. something between the Fusion Pro Glide and regular five-blade razors. For almost half the price and compatibility with my FlexBall grip, I'll settle for a little more discomfort and no blade to trim the back pieces. These razors seem to last the same number of shaves as the Pro Glide. I can usually get about 5 shaves of my thick facial hair with a few days of growth before shaving becomes painful. I find Cremo shaving cream to be the most effective and convenient.
