Takes torpedo levels to a whole new level

The first level I ever bought was a torpedo level and decades later I still have it. These little bubble levels are versatile and easy to use. My trusty old torpedo has been used in hundreds of jobs over the years. This Kapro level takes the functionality of the Torpedo level to the next level. But what struck me about this product when I opened the packaging was its beauty. Not only the red anodized surface and the white lettering, but also the fine workmanship. If you like nice looking instruments you will love this level. Three magnets ensure a very strong and secure attachment. My original Torpedo level has two magnets, and while you can stick it on anything, the magnets don't support its weight. Each Kapro magnet can hold an entire layer on a metal surface like an open desk drawer (which I tested each magnet with individually). So if you're working with metal raceways, a metal door frame, or whatever, not only will your level not go down, but it will stay in the XZY position (all three levels) you set it to. The locking screw is another interesting feature. . This solves a problem I had with metal pipes or gutters; how genius! The Kapro has four bubble indicators while my original torpedo level only has three. Another is 30 degrees and an angle often found in projects (this is a third not half of 90). Another thoughtful touch is the carrying strap. You can clip it to your tool bag with a carabiner, or just slip your finger through the strap while you work to keep it from falling off. My camera has a fall protection strap and I always put my hand through it when using the camera from a tripod. similar here.
