The kitchen and family room are noticeably cooler already.

We wanted more shade than our slatted patio cover gave, so we installed the Sunshade underneath. The white rope on all four corners is used to pull the sunshade taut while hooking the adjustable tarp straps in place (Smart Straps). Leaving the ropes in the grommets has allowed us to make easy adjustments when the shade sagged/stretched. If a 74 year old woman on the ladder and her 87 year old husband pulling the rope can install one of these, anyone can! It’s only been up a week so I can’t attest to the durability or sturdiness yet but we live in SoCal so the Santa Ana winds will be a good test of both.

Pros

This is the second one to extend the coverage of the backyard. It is a good product.
