The cloak is as advertised, 100% wool, gray color is correct. It's quite soft, not like cashmere, but the price isn't cashmere either. It looks like it could be recycled wool, which is great for me as I'm anti-consumer and anti-waste. The problem I have, not the bandage's fault, is that when I have one end over my left shoulder, no matter how long I make the other end wrap it around my right shoulder, it sags a bit forward and throw it over the left, it falls almost immediately. Even if I ball it up like a scarf and drape it high over my shoulder, it still falls off almost immediately. So you can't completely wrap yourself in it like I planned. I'll keep experimenting, and of course you can wear it on either shoulder, with the ends hanging evenly forward. And you also can't wear it like in the photo because the end draped over the front will never stay there, it will just hang straight down unless you use a pin or something. I live in Los Angeles, which gets cold mornings and evenings in the winter, but not where a winter coat is really needed. So it's perfect for al fresco dining and concerts. I plan on wearing it "forever" once I figure out how. Ha.
