Review on Snow Winter Shoes and Paw Protectors for Small/Medium Dogs and Puppies - Dog Boots by Fred Alexander

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Virtually useless due to poor design

Don't take these booties, they won't stay on your dog even if bitten. My corgi takes them off in about 5 seconds. There are several serious flaws that make them very easy for the dog to remove, and sometimes they just slide off on their own. First, the tip is in front, where it's easiest for the dog to chew on. They had to insert a drawstring at the back. Second, the toe is too low, making it difficult to fasten well, and half the booties just dangle without touching the dog. Third, they are always free. Even if you tighten them as tight as possible, they still slip off easily even if the dog doesn't tug them. Two stars because they fit on my dog's paws (for a few seconds before he takes them off) and there might be someone out there who has a dog that doesn't play around with the rope. Save yourself the hassle and buy quality no drawstring ankle boots.

  • Confident
Cons
