I bought two 9W SATCO Hygrade twin tube bulbs: 4100K and 5000K. In general, the warmer the color temperature, the lower the lumens. So I bought both as I prefer the warmer color temperature (4100K) but wasn't sure if they would be bright enough on their own. But that doesn't apply to these satcos. As you can see in my photo of two boxes: SATCO 4100K model S8308, 610 lumens SATCO 5000K model S8309, 560 lumens. I installed both in a two-bulb Waldmann table lamp that I use at work. Mixing of color temperatures is normal; it gives you options. My forest man can use either lamp 1 (4100K) or both lamps. Although my lamps are protected by a black waffle grille, the 4100K lamp puts out enough light to read the occasional printout. This is great because it means I can have warm light without having to use both bulbs. If I'm working late or on weekends and I feel guilty about turning on the overhead lights, I turn on both lightbulbs. Conclusion: I had never heard of SATCO, but I gave it a try. And I'm glad I did. These lights work quietly and beautifully.
