Riding at night is always a bit of a chore, and these lights help take the pressure off the road after the sun goes down. flashing red in the back and solid white in the front. The flashing red is bright enough to be noticeable without distracting a passing motorist. The solid white up front isn't really as bright as a headlight, but it does at least give you a few seconds to prepare for small debris you might miss in dark road conditions. If you want something to really enlighten you, you probably need a dedicated headlamp with decent light output. a way to light your way (unless you're driving very slowly). Attaches to anything zip tie compatible which is nice. Easy to take off and put on. And I used them to walk around the house when I needed some extra light (but didn't want to take out my headlamp) because they're small, light, and easy to place. Also my kids love to play with them and so far they have been sturdy enough to survive.
