I first started using the Epivac system about 15 years ago and lately I've noticed that my original corks were starting to wear out. . So I bought her. They are different from the ones I originally bought. The ribbed part is longer and maybe slightly larger in diameter. I've had trouble getting them into some wine bottles and they don't always work - either they're blocked somehow so you can't work with the pump, or they don't seal well enough to hold a vacuum. This doesn't happen 100% of the time, but it's enough for me to consider other options for now.
