In the photo on the left you can see a decent velcro with a mat that is of decent height and density and the width of which stretches almost the entire width of the wearer. . On the right, Velcro is sold here with insufficient coverage on the backing and an inconsistent and sparse buttonhole mat. This really got me back to a project where I would sew this velcro in place and then not be able to easily remove it once it started failing. I had to put everything else aside and find a decent Velcro strap so I could get the job done properly.
