If the volume on my phone or computer is at 100% and my headphones are at 100%, it's not too loud. I'm used to my ears trying to leave me and find a new family to live with when I have the volume at 100%. The bass is pretty good, not overwhelming and nowhere near triple figures for headphones, but much better than cheap headphones. The battery life is surprisingly long. Sometimes I still can't believe they're still going strong, especially considering how far you've taken them 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
